We call it Indian or ornamental corn. It was a gift from the Indigenous people of the Americas. It is fascinating that a silk of corn can make a kernel of corn. The marble in this corn is beautiful. I created it as if it was a monument, sacred to us against the backdrop of the earth and sky.
